Anjali Devi, a student of Bachelor of Arts (third year) at Government Degree College, Dhaneta, in Hamirpur district, has topped the BA (third year) examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) in April.

Anjali, a resident of Mansai village, secured a 9.05 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in the exam.

Rakshit, a student of Swami Vivekanand Government Degree College, Ghumarwin, stood second with a 8.99 CGPA, and Kavita, a student of Government Degree College, Seraj (Lambathach), stood third in the examination, securing a 8.96 CGPA. HPU here today declared the result of the examination, in which 18,564 students appeared. Out of these, 15,724 students, or 92.82 per cent, were able to pass the exam. HPU Controller of Examination Shyam Lal Kaushal said the result was available on the official website of the university.
