Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, accompanied by Lady Governor Janaki Shukla, visited the revered Devta Maheshwar temple at Pujarli in Rohru subdivision as part of his three-day official tour. A large number of local residents, dressed in traditional attire, extended a warm welcome to the Governor.

Education Minister Rohit Thakur and local MLA Mohan Lal Brakta were also present on the occasion. The dignitaries joined the Governor in offering prayers at the ancient temple, which holds deep religious and cultural significance for the local community.

Expressing his admiration for the devotion and hospitality of the people, the Governor said: “This visit has given me a rare opportunity to witness the sacred Dev culture of Himachal Pradesh up close.” He prayed for the continued blessings of Devta Maheshwar for the welfare and prosperity of the region.

Secretary to the Governor, CP Verma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, along with other officials and dignitaries, were also present during the visit.
