Himachal High Court Bar Association provides relief to fire-affected families

In a heartwarming show of solidarity, the Himachal Pradesh High Court Bar Association extended financial assistance to the fire-affected families in Tandi village, located in the Jibhi valley of Banjar subdivision, Kullu district. The recent fire devastated the area, leaving several families homeless and in urgent need of support.

General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh High Court Bar Association, Devender Thakur, visited Tandi village yesterday to meet the affected families. During his visit, he expressed his sympathy and assured the victims of ongoing assistance. As part of the Bar Association’s relief efforts, Thakur handed over a cheque for Rs 78,500 to help the victims rebuild their lives.

Emphasising the collective responsibility of individuals and organisations during tragic times, Thakur reassured the families that the Bar Association would continue to provide further support as needed.

The fire victims of Tandi village expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Thakur and the Himachal Pradesh High Court Bar Association. They noted the financial aid would be crucial in helping them restart their lives.
