To facilitate patients coming to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College and Hospital (PJNGMC&H), HRTC electric vans have started plying on roads. It was earlier banned due to curfew in the state.

The orders were passed by District Magistrate (DM) Vivek Bhatia here on Monday. He said the decision was taken to provide emergency transport services to the patients.

HRTC electric vans would be available to patients from Baloo and Zero Point to the PJNGMC&H hospital, the DM stated.
