Prem Pal Ranta, Member Secretary of H.P State Legal Services Authority, said it had become imperative to take care of the poor and needy people who were not able to sustain themselves amid the Covid crisis.
He said as per the direction of the Executive Chairman, the Legal Services Authority had covered most of the Child Care Insitutions and Old Age Homes and the process was underway. Secretaries of DLSAs are interacting with inmates through video conferencing and WhatsApp video calls.
