He said that the Chief Minister had introduced several ground-breaking reforms in the education sector. “As a result of these initiatives, Himachal Pradesh has made significant progress and now ranks among the top five states in education quality, a remarkable improvement from the 21st position just three years ago,” he claimed.
Bittu said that the state government had decided to bring several schools under the CBSE to further enhance the quality of education and help students compete more effectively at the national level. He added that the government was continuously working in key areas such as education, employment, health, tourism and environment and the positive outcomes were now visible.
He said that the state government was providing overseas employment opportunities to the youth and 40 persons from Hamirpur district had already got jobs abroad.
Bittu said that Himachal was battling natural disasters for the past three years but despite limited support from the Central Government, the Chief Minister had set an example by releasing a special rehabilitation package for the disaster-hit people.
Earlier, principal Mushtaq Muhammad welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries and presented the annual report of the school. Students presented vibrant cultural performances. Sharma gave away awards to students for their achievements in various fields.
