Himachal Speaker announces funds for cultural activities, school playground

The event, themed “Sanskriti-2025,” showcased vibrant cultural performances by students from Bagdhar school and nearby schools within the cluster.
He directed officials to expedite the process for the construction of a school playground and announced Rs 21,000 for senior students and Rs 11,000 for junior students to promote cultural activities. He also promised to provide a kabaddi mat for the school.
Addressing the gathering, Speaker Pathania congratulated meritorious students for their excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular activities and extended best wishes for their future. He said the state government is committed to providing quality education and due to its progressive policies and visionary leadership, Himachal Pradesh has advanced from the 21st position to among the top five states in the country in the education sector.
Expressing appreciation for the students’ achievements, Pathania said such annual functions reflect an institution’s academic and cultural vitality. He expressed hope that Bagdhar school would soon become a model school in the state.
