Manjeev Bhalla, Director of Himalayan Heli Adventures, stated that the two flights were carried out under challenging weather conditions, with rain and sleet in Kullu Valley. Led by Icelandic pilot Armas Salsola, a team of Swiss-trained rescue experts executed the mission efficiently.

Each flight lasted about 90 minutes. One patient was taken to Manali, while the other was transported to Kangnidhar Helipad in Mandi for medical attention. Bhalla expressed gratitude for assisting local communities and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to emergency rescues in remote areas.
