Cadet Sergeant Diksha Kumari of the Himachal Pradesh Air Squadron NCC Kullu was awarded the prestigious ADG Award for her exceptional performance as "Guard Commander (Guard of Honours)" during the National Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2025 in Delhi.

Diksha Kumari, a student of Vallabh Government College, Mandi, and a cadet of the NCC Air Wing Mandi, was entrusted with the responsibility of commanding the Guard of Honour during the Republic Day celebrations.

Flying Officer Dr Chaman from the Himachal Pradesh Air Squadron Kullu lauded Diksha’s exemplary performance and leadership. "Her role as Guard Commander set a high standard and was an inspiration to all cadets present at the camp," he said.

Also, Cadet Sergeant Tejaswini Singh, a 10th-grade student from DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi, who represented the Directorate in the "Best Cadet" category, became the sole cadet from the region to earn this honour.
