Dr Sharma highlighted JSW’s efforts in selecting youth from underprivileged backgrounds in project-affected areas to provide them with skill development opportunities and improve their livelihoods. The training covered essential topics such as soil testing, pest management, disease prevention, beekeeping, pruning, nursery management and pollination. He noted that these initiatives would help small and marginal orchardists boost their income.
