The Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board, in collaboration with the Hotel & Restaurant Association and Smart City Dharamsala, organised an awareness programme to mark the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer at Hotel Bhagsu, McLeodganj.

Vinay Dhiman, DTDO Kangra, attended the event as the special guest, along with association leaders Rahul Dhiman, Sanjeev Gandhi, Ashok Pathania and Rashpal Pathania. More than 30 hoteliers participated actively in the programme. Experts including Er Varun Gupta, Er Rajat and Dr Amrik Singh delivered engaging presentations on ozone preservation, environmental challenges and sustainable hospitality practices. Participants were sensitised on critical issues such as air, noise and water pollution, waste management and energy conservation.

The interactive session concluded with a vibrant Q&A, followed by a collective pledge from the hoteliers to adopt eco-friendly measures.
