The Himachal State Election Commission announced on Saturday elections to the six local bodies—nagar panchayats of Ani and Nirmand in Kullu, Kandaghat in Solan, Chirgaon and Nerwa in Shimla and Kandaghat in Solan on April 7.

Nominations should be filed from March 22 to March 24, they will be scrutinised on March 25. These can be withdrawn until March 27.

Election schedule is the same as elections for four municipal corporations—Dharamsala, Mani, Palampur and Solan—announced earlier in the day. Votes will be counted immediately after polling closes on April 7.
