The Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) preliminary exam is set to be held on June 29 in two sessions — morning and afternoon.

In a press release issued by the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), HPPSC Secretary Nivedita Negi said the exam would be held in two batches: from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Entry into the examination hall will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

“No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall/rooms after the closing of the entry gates. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre an hour and a half before the exam,” she said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
