Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has announced the cancellation of the entrance test for admission to the Five-Year Integrated Course in Tourism and Travel Management for the 2025-26 academic session.

The test, earlier scheduled for May 24, will no longer be conducted. An official notification issued by the Dean of Studies on Monday confirmed the decision.

According to the notification, admissions will now be based on academic merit in Class X and Class XII examinations. The detailed schedule for admission counselling will be released separately. The university has advised students to regularly visit the official HPU website for updates. The programme offers 35 seats.
