HPU forms committee to probe case of 2 answer sheets with same roll no.

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has constituted a committee to investigate a case of two answer-sheets bearing the same roll number and credentials were received for evaluation.

As per the university authorities, the answer sheets of the MA (English) examination held in June this year were received from Government Post Graduate College, Una. The matter came to light when the examination wing of the university detected the answer-sheets during online screening. The university immediately informed the college about the matter, besides halting the evaluation process.

The university then sought a clarification from the Una college and later its Vice-Chancellor constituted a committee lead by the Dean (College Development Council) to investigate the matter. The committee would be investigating the matter to find out whether the answer-sheets had the same roll number due to negligence or irregularity on the part of the college or the student concerned had mistakenly mentioned the same details in the answer-sheets.

The committee has been directed the submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor.
