HPU organises lecture on Viksit Bharat
The Department of Geography at Himachal Pradesh University here today organised the third Mahima Chatranta Memorial Lecture in collaboration with the Geographical Society of Himachal Pradesh (GSHP) on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Opportunities and Challenges’.
The event paid tribute to Mahima Chatranta, a distinguished alumnus of the department, who died on October 23, 2015, at the age of 29.
Prof BK Shivram, Dean of Studies, who was the chief guest at the event, highlighted the contribution of the research scholar.
Guest Speaker, Prof Arunchalam, Department of Applied Economics, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi, Kerala, talked about the theme.
