HRTC trial on Chandertal route

The HRTC conducted a trial on the Manali-Chandertal route yesterday to review the condition of the road to start a bus service.

During the bus trial, a few stretches were found unfit by the HRTC, which later informed the district administration.

Mangal Menepa, Regional Manager of the HRTC, told The Tribune that Chandertal is a popular destination where a large number of tourists visit during summer every year. It is 110-km away from Manali and the bus fare will be Rs 248. As soon as the road will be cleared, the HRTC will start a bus service on this route. — TNS
