Two more pilgrims from Bathinda district of Punjab succumbed to their injuries sustained yesterday when the truck they were travelling in overturned after colliding with a bus and fell off the road. They were going to the Chamunda Devi Temple to perform langar sewa when their truck overturned near Dhaliara in Kangra district, leading to the tragedy.

Two of the deceased identified as Kuldeep Singh and Jasmail Singh had died on the spot while Goldy and Jagsir Singh, also residents of Bathinda district, died in hospital. At least, 20 other pilgrims were injured in the mishap. The truck also carried gas cylinders and other items for the langar sewa at the temple but there was no explosion.
