I am not Mr India: Kangana on Vikramaditya Singh's claim of her absence from Mandi

BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday mocked Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh's claim that she is nowhere to be seen in her constituency. She said she is not "Mr India, who is invisible" and that he is misleading people with such statements.

Addressing people in the Balh Assembly segment of Mandi, Ranaut said Singh is still in shock after his defeat in the Lok Sabha elections and is therefore making such remarks.

Singh, the son of former CM Virbhadra Singh and state Congress chief Pratibha Singh has criticised Ranaut on multiple occasions over her absence from her constituency.

"Raja Babu calls the press every day and gives a statement that the (Mandi) MP is nowhere to be seen. I go to Parliament every day. I am not Mr India who is invisible," Ranaut said.

She said the opposition's criticism is understandable but Singh is abusing her every day and misleading the public. After taking oath as MP, five to six months were spent doing Parliament work, she said.

On Sunday, the MP told reporters in Mandi that Singh was yet to come to terms with his defeat in the Lok Sabha polls.
