All the outpatient services (OPD) of the Urology Department of Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC), Shimla, will be available in Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialities (AIMSS), Chamiana, from July 22 — on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Urology OPD services will not be available at IGMC-Shimla. However, emergency and major operations will continue at the IGMC-Shimla.

AIMSS Director Dr Brij Sharma said an additional OPD for the Gastroenterology Department will be available every Friday. Additionally, routine Gastro OPD services at the IGMC-Shimla will continue to be available on three days — Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Dr Rahul Rao, IGMC Medical Superintendent, has appealed to the general public to cooperate in this initiative.
