Once their suspicion was confirmed, two police teams led by DSP, Kangra, Ankit Sharma and SHO Sanjeev Kumar conducted a raid on the guesthouse.

The police arrested a 35-year-old resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh, and booked her under various sections of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. Two women were rescued from the guesthouse and taken into protective custody.
