Vehicular traffic got disrupted at Chakki Mor on the Parwanoo-Dharampur section of the national highway-5 today as boulders and muck fell from the hill following incessant rain.

The vehicles moved at a snail’s pace near Chakki Mor as traffic was diverted to two lanes.

Solan Additional Deputy Commissioner Ajay Yadav said there was partial disruption at Chakki Mor and the traffic movement was restored.

Apart from this, a pucca house owned by Beena Devi in Dhalli village of Kandaghat was damaged after boulders and muck fell on the roof causing widespread damage.

In another incident, a cow died after a boulder fell on it at Jobi village in Ramshehar of Nalagarh sub-division following heavy downpour.

Three roads, including Ramshehar - Sunna Nerli, Ramshehar - Dharmana and Ramshehar - Chamdar faced traffic disruptions due to landslides in Nalagarh.
