Mandi ASP Sagar Chander said that through ITMS, “people without helmet, triple riding, overspeeding, etc will be monitored 24X7 and challaned. As per the notified rules, the maximum speed limit for light motor vehicles is 60 km per hour and for heavy vehicles the maximum speed limit is 40 km per hour. The defaulter will receive information about the challan raised through ITMS through an SMS.”

“The challan can be paid online on www.echallan.parivahan.gov.in or at the police station, Balh, within 15 days after which the challan will be sent to the concerned court. Mandi Police expects from the people to follow traffic rules,” he added.
