The student council (2024) of Pinegrove School, Dharampur, was inducted with badges at the Investiture Ceremony held yesterday. The oath-taking ceremony was conducted by the head boy of the previous year, Aditya Raj Singh.

Yerik Gauri was declared the head boy and Mehak Kaur Dhillon the head girl.

Devashish Saizal and Ayush Rai were appointed sports prefects for the first and second term.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
