Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur today listened to “Mann Ki Baat” programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with party functionaries at Kumarhatti in Kasauli Assembly constituency. He congratulated the people of the state on completion of 10 years of the programme.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the world’s most popular programme of Prime Minister has played an important role in encouraging the hidden talents in every corner of the country. This programme has inspired people to celebrate each other’s achievements, not to give up under adverse circumstances and to achieve their goals at all costs.

In terms of popularity, Mann Ki Baat programme earned top rating from the first day and the reason behind this is the diversity and inclusiveness of the programme.

The Leader of the Opposition reviewed the membership campaign in Solan and said that today, be it youth or women, there is a lot of enthusiasm among all sections of society to take the membership of the BJP. “Such technology friendly campaigns were not run by any other party in the country before. There is a lot of enthusiasm among everyone from youth to elders in the campaign to take membership.”

He remarked that the BJP is getting widespread support in the country and it has become the largest party in the world.

The meeting was chaired by mandal president Rajendra Rana. Party vice president Dr Rajiv Saizal, district president Ratan Pal along with other party officials and workers were present in this meeting.
