Kashyap said the SDM, trust members and the district language officer will jointly finalise the carving design. “A donor had submitted a proposal to the trust for silver carvings in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum, which has now been approved. The donor will bear all expenses for the work,” he said.

The committee also approved a master plan prepared by the Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department, estimated at Rs 5.67 crore. The plan includes the construction of a yagyashala, shoe house, new toilets, shops and sheds. A progress report on the temple’s upcoming website was also presented. The website is in its final stages and officials have been directed to complete it within a week.
