After his school years, Nikhil worked hard to secure admission to NIT Hamirpur, where he completed his B.Tech, followed by an M.Tech in Bengaluru. Reflecting on his journey, Nikhil shared his success story with the students.

He attributed his achievement to his unwavering determination and dedication, despite the personal tragedy of losing his father during his matriculation. He emphasised that his father’’s memory motivated him to reach his goals. Nikhil also spoke about how cracking the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) led to his selection as a scientist in the DRDO.
