The religious ritual was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as part of its initiative to promote peace, prosperity, and protection from natural calamities.
The event witnessed the presence of Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, who also took part in the Havan. The BJP stated that the ceremony was held with the intention of seeking divine blessings for Himachal Pradesh and the nation.
Speaking to the media, Kangana Ranaut claimed that the Central Government has extended approximately Rs. 10,000 crore in financial assistance to the Himachal Pradesh government to date. She emphasised the centre’s commitment to supporting the state, especially in times of natural disasters.
When questioned about her absence from the flood-affected areas of her parliamentary constituency, Mandi, during the recent monsoon havoc, Kangana responded by saying that she was engaged in public service at the national level.
“I was continuously working for the welfare of my constituency. In Delhi, I met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and several other Union Ministers to seek financial relief for flood-affected people, especially in the Mandi region,” she said.
On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Kangana extended her warm wishes, stating: “Modi hai to Mumkin hai.”
