Kangra valley witnesses sunny day

n Residents of the Kangra valley enjoyed a sunny day on Saturday after a week of biting cold wave. Severe cold conditions persisted for a week following snowfall on the Dhauladhar mountain ranges and rain in the valley

n It was a sunny Saturday with clear open sky since morning. The day temperature rose to 23.7 degree Celsius against 17.1 degree Celsius experienced on Friday while a minimum temperature of 6.6 degree Celsius was recorded

n At Dharamsala, the maximum temperature increased to 16.8 degree Celsius from 13.2 degree Celsius on Friday

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
