Notably, Kothipura has become a hub of education as the proposed KV will be third educational institution of excellence to come up here after Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and AIIMS. The village also has a government senior school and a primary school.

The DC said the land identified for the construction of the school was located within the AIIMS campus and was also near to the JNV and a 33 KW sub-station. He added that the location meets all requirements for the construction of the KV and even FCA clearance will not be required, enabling quick construction of the school campus. The DC added that the establishment of a KV would meet a long pending demand of people.

AIIMS Director Dayanand Sharma, SDM Rajdeep Singh, Deputy Director Higher Education Renu Kaushal and officials of Revenue Department were also present on the occasion.
