The SP said 55 grams of heroin was seized from two accused in the Parla Bhuntar area of Kullu district on January 30. The team went to Delhi to trace the links and nabbed a 38-year-old citizen of Ivory Coast along with 6.297 kg of heroin and 362 grams of ganja. This was the largest haul of synthetic drugs seized so far by the police.

He said it was found that the kingpin had rented a flat to other criminals to carry out the illicit trade and he had been absconding since the day of the raid and was changing hideouts. He was caught from west Delhi after four months of hard work. — OC
