Bhani Das Sharma (67), father of Kinnaur Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Sharma, has been missing for five days.

He allegedly disappeared during the Manimahesh Yatra. Bhani Das embarked on the pilgrimage on September 9 with his family. They spent the night at Dhancho and began their journey toward the Manimahesh Lake on the morning of September 10.

Bhani Das, who suffers from mild Alzheimer’s disease, got separated from the group and was last seen heading towards Bharmour. Acting Additional DM, Bharmour, Kulbir Singh Rana, confirmed that a search operation is underway.
