Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi will inaugurate the state-level Kinnaur Mahosava at Reckong Peo tomorrow, said Amit Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the state-level Kinnaur Festival Committee, here today.

The Deputy Commissioner also chaired a meeting to review preparations for the festival that would continue till November. He said Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu would be the chief guest of the closing ceremony.

He highlighted the activities scheduled to take place during the festival that would be held at the Mini Sports Stadium in Kinnaur. The event would feature a National Tribal Festival on October 30 and 31 that would showcase tribal handicrafts, art, culture, film documentation, literature, forest-based products, traditional cuisine as well as indigenous medical practices. He added that a marathon would also be held on October 31.
