Union Ministry for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju will visit Kinnaur on June 27. Kinnaur DC Amit Sharma chaired a meeting at Reckong Peo, in which a detailed discussion was held regarding the preparations for the Union Minister’s visit.

Necessary guidelines were issued to the officers of various departments to make arrangements for the visit. The minister will visit Pooh and Nako on June 27. The visit is likely to give impetus to the Central Government’s scheme for the tribal district.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shekhar, ADC Narayan Singh Chauhan, SDM Kalpa, Amit Kalthaik and others were present at the meeting.
