Komal Sharma was today administered the oath of office and secrecy as the Municipal Council president.

The oath was administered by SDM, Kangra, Jatin Lal in the presence of MC vice-president Shyam Narayan.

Komal Sharma was unanimously elected the Kangra MC chief on March 16 after the post fell vacant following the resignation of Ashok Sharma, also her brother-in-law, on February 4.

Komal said her priorities would be to ensure sanitation in the town, besides installing CCTV cameras to keep tabs on anti-social elements.
