Members of Devbhumi Kshatriya Samaj staged a protest on Tuesday outside the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat against Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ramji Lal Suman over his controversial remarks on Rana Sanga, the legendary Kshatriya warrior. The protesters burned an effigy of Suman and raised slogans condemning his statement.

Addressing the gathering, Rumit Singh Thakur, President of Devbhumi Kshatriya Samaj, called Suman’s remarks unfortunate and unacceptable. He criticised those making statements about historical figures without proper knowledge, stating that such comments about great warriors like Rana Sanga were disrespectful and would not be tolerated by the Kshatriya community.

Thakur further announced that on April 12, members of the Kshatriya community will travel to Agra to stage a massive protest against Suman’s remarks, vowing to intensify their opposition if necessary.
