Kullu Deputy Commissioner Torul S Ravish chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of various Scheduled Caste development schemes implemented by the Welfare Department in Kullu district, on Thursday.

During the meeting, the DC emphasised the need to prioritise the completion of near-finished projects and urged officials to ensure that no work remains incomplete. She also directed that any schemes funded through other budgets be removed from the current list to avoid duplication.

To ensure efficient fund utilisation, the Public Works, Jal Shakti and Block Development Officers were instructed to reallocate budgets from delayed projects — due to factors such as Forest Conservation Act (FCA) formalities — towards schemes that can be completed on time.
