Gurpal Singh, school management committee member, told media persons that she was often found sleeping in the school in an inebriated state owing to which the science result suffered.

When confronted by the media persons, she denied any such allegation. She, however, maintained that she was under depression and taking anti-depression medicines. She was sleeping during her free period as she was tired after attending a marriage the night before.

A bottle containing a coloured liquid was recovered from her bag. Its sample was taken by the SMC for testing.

Villagers, fed up with her reckless attitude, asserted that they will not send their children to school tomorrow if she was not shifted. They said even last year they had complained about her reckless behaviour to the authorities but it had yielded no result.
