The DC stated that Rohtang Pass and Pagal Nala route have been reopened for small vehicles, enabling farmers from remote villages in Lahaul and Spiti to transport their crops to Kullu and other major markets.

“The BRO is working diligently to repair roads to ensure movement of heavy vehicles. The district administration is closely monitoring the progress. Officials have been stationed at key points to respond promptly to any unforeseen issues or disruptions,” the DC said.

The DC has urged all farmers facing any transport-related difficulties in moving their cash crops and vegetables to contact the District Emergency Operations Centre (DEOC) immediately. Farmers can reach the district control room via: Phone: 9459461355, Helpline: 1077.
