Una DC Jatin Lal on Wednesday notified the closure of Lathiani to Kodhra road in Bangan subdivision for the next seven days to complete the strengthening work on the road. According to the notification issued under Section 115 and116 of the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, the commuters have been advised to take alternate routes. The district administration has notified that the people can use the Padyola to Dharet road to bypass the under-construction road.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
