The three-day conference provided a platform to the over 250 students from classes IX to XII to develop life skills while enabling them to step beyond their comfort zones, engage in interactive activities and cultivate critical soft skills and leadership qualities.
Participants explored a dynamic blend of learning methodologies designed to enhance their personal and professional growth. Students were divided into various categories of working groups like political party, advertising and marketing, entrepreneurship and media house.
Dr Dhani Ram Shandil, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Himachal Pradesh, concluded the event on Monday evening.
While the ‘Best Corporate House CEO’ award went to Vivaan Tuteja, the ‘Best Media House CEO’ award was bagged by Siddhivinayak Sharma. Keerat Sandhu emerged as the ‘prime minister’ of the ruling party and Aamer Kohli was highly commended for his effective role as leader of the Opposition party.
In his address, Shandil encouraged the students to save the environment by planting trees and imbibing leadership qualities. Applauding the rich legacy of the school and the remarkable achievements of its alumni, he exhorted the students to develop their soft skills like communication, empathy, confidence, conflict resolution and teamwork’
Headmaster Himmat Dhillon complimented the effort of Akshit Batra, founder and key resource person of the conference. Dhillon said, “The methodology of experiential learning adopted during the conference is yet another show of our commitment towards implementation of New Education Policy-2020 in letter and spirit.”
