A leopard attacked Satya Devi yesterday when she had gone to work in the field at Kota Pab panchayat in the trans-Giri area of Sirmaur district.

The woman shouted loudly and freed herself from its clutches. The leopard ran away as villagers gathered on the spot.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
