Liquor contractor gets ransom call for second time

Rana, has businesses in Punjab and Himachal. The caller, who identified himself as Hari Boxer, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, had called him on his WhatsApp number yesterday as well and demanded Rs 5 crore as ransom and threatened him of dire consequences if he did not pay the money or reported the matter to the police.
Rana said that the same person called him again and said that “since I have violated both conditions, I will be killed in the next 48 hours”. He added that the caller claimed that he killed a person in Ludhiana today. Additional SP Sanjeev Bhatia said the location of the caller was being traced.
