The apple growers and farmers of the region are concerned over the prolonged dry weather. The dry spell has already started having an adverse impact on agriculture and horticulture. Most of the apple growers do not know how to deal with the current situation. The Horticulture Department should take note of the issue and help the farmers at the earliest.

Vehicles parked on both sides of the road

vehicles are being parked on both sides of the road leading to the Panchrukhi-Pahra road at Panchrukhi. The road is narrow and haphazard parking makes it extremely difficult for other vehicles to cross over, leading to frequent traffic jams in the area.
