Dr Sharma provided guidelines for maintaining community toilets and encouraged suggestions for improving cleanliness. He called for active public participation in making Kinnaur one of the cleanest districts.

He also directed officials to adhere to National Green Tribunal (NGT) guidelines when selecting dumping sites. Waste-transporting vehicles must be fully covered, and fines for single-use plastic violations should be enforced. Identified hotspots must be cleaned regularly, and waste should be segregated into wet and dry categories for proper disposal.
