Thick plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from the premises, causing panic among the residents, as it was visible from a long distance.

A crew of 17 firemen along with five fire tenders rushed to the spot upon receiving information. It took more than 12 hours to douse the fire completely, as the presence of flammable material fueled the spread of the blaze.

Santosh Sharma, Commandant Home Guards, Solan, informed that the blaze was controlled by 1:50 PM this afternoon.
