Man dies as car falls into gorge in Shimla’s Rampur

A man was killed as his car plunged into a gorge in Rampur sub-division in this district.

Bhagwan Dass, 72, was a resident of Bashri village in Rampur.

According to police, the mishap took place near Barshi when Bhagwan lost control over the car at a steep curve and it plunged into the gorge, killing him on the spot.

A police team reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Police said a case has been registered and an investigation is on.
