A local villager was arrested for setting ablaze his uncle’s house at Dhala village near here on Thursday. SP Solan Gaurav Singh informed that Arun Kumar, a resident of Basal in Solan, lodged a complaint at Sadar police station that his nephew Vipin had set his house ablaze at Dhala village. A Nepalese youth, Dholi, hired by him to look after the house apprised him of this incident. Arun rushed to the village and tried to stop Vipin, but he threatened to kill him. The fire charred the doors and windows of the ground floor of his house and reduced the wheat crop stacked in his house to ashes. The police arrested Vipin on Thursday evening. The SP said that Vipin was produced before a court on Friday for securing his remand.
