Manali will have a new-look Circuit House. With the finishing work almost complete, the PWD has accomplished the task in a record time.

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had announced the construction of a grand Circuit House in view of the VIP movement in Manali and laid the foundation stone of the new building on August 29, 2020. However, the construction started in October last year after the completion of various formalities and addition of some provisions to the drawings. This will be the first such government building in Kullu, which will have the state-of-the-art facilities and host VVIPs and VIPs.

The new building will cost Rs 12.50 crore. Earlier, the government had made a budget provision of Rs 7 crore. Later, it decided to give the state-of-the-art touch to this building and increased the amount. The new Circuit House will have 15 rooms. Earlier, only one room was VIP, now all rooms will be equipped with facilities. This will be the first circuit house where 200 persons can sit in the Chief Minister’s Conference Hall. The new building is equipped with the internal heating system.
