Normal traffic was restored on the Kiratpur-Manali National Highway around 7.30 pm today. Traffic on the highway between Mandi and Kullu was temporarily suspended earlier in the day after a flyover girder suffered damage near Dwada in Mandi district. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) swiftly initiated the repair work, which took a few hours to complete, and restored the highway to traffic.

The authorities concerned have advised commuters to avoid the regular highway when it was being repaired. The Kataula-Kamand route remained open for light motor vehicles, according to the previously announced schedule.

Further monitoring will be carried out to ensure road safety and structural stability. Commuters have been advised to stay updated through official channels for any future advisories.
